From Bison Hill to business leadership, Jonathan Pickett’s story is one of calling, growth and impact.
Pickett, a 1999 OBU graduate and Chick-fil-A owner-operator in Lawton, will return to campus Oct. 2 as the featured speaker for the OBU Business Forum.
After beginning his career in student ministry, Pickett followed a new vocational path that eventually led him to Chick-fil-A. Today, he operates two Lawton locations and leads an organization of 180 team members, bringing together business leadership, stewardship and a desire to positively influence the people and community around him.
There is also a meaningful full-circle connection to his OBU story. At Pickett’s 1999 commencement, Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy delivered the address in Raley Chapel. More than two decades later, Pickett returns to Bison Hill to share the lessons he has learned through leadership, faith and business.
The Business Forum begins at 10 a.m. Oct. 2 in the Tulsa Royalties Auditorium of the Bailey Business Center and is open to the public.
